Master Agreement Between the Government of the Province of Alberta and the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees
The Employing Department will grant Union Representatives access to its premises for a specific purpose provided prior approval has been obtained. When investigating a grievance for the purpose of meeting with the Grievor or the Grievor's immediate supervisor, an appointment with the Grievor or the Grievor's immediate supervisor will be obtained through the Department or Institution Human Resources representative. The foregoing approval shall not be unreasonably denied.
On a quarterly basis, the Employer will provide the
Union with a list of Human Resources representatives with whom it may arrange
Employee appointments for the purpose of investigating grievances, and the
Union shall provide a current list of Union staff officers and Union Stewards
to each Employing Department. The Union Steward list shall include the name
and, where available, the work location of these Employees.
